Family and friends gathered to watch Petra walk down an aisle lined with olive trees and the handsome couple exchanged  heartfelt vows in a garden ceremony. Then, the newlyweds and their 135 guests celebrated a chic picnic-style reception on the upper lawn with lunch, music and mingling. "When we were hanging out, dancing, laughing, and eating, I looked at my friends, family, and beautiful wife," Marc says. "It was ethereal." Their wedding was recently featured in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and Harper's Bazaar online, and photographed by the very talented Corbin Gurkin.

Petra wore a stunning custom ensemble by Stella McCartney, donning painterly flowers on her skirt to blend with her loose wedding bouquet. Marc wore a custom gray suit and vibrant boutonniere. As for the dress: "When you have Stella McCartney designing you a custom look, there's no need to consider anything else. It was like being in love: I only had eyes for Stella," Petra recalls.

Visiting guests each received welcome baskets that included petite baguettes,Sweet Lady Cook preserves, a Mast Brothers chocolate bar, and a butter knife. After the ceremony, Petra swapped out her cathedral mantilla veil for an antique French wax flower crown of faux orange blossoms which she had flown in from Paris and adorned with mini red carnations.

Petra's adorable niece wore a whimsical flower crown and guests were served homemade blueberry and pecan pies in lieu of traditional wedding cake.
